Over 400 lawsuits have been filed against an orthopedic surgeon in Florida alleging he was impaired by a progressive neurological condition resulting in devastating injuries, and in one case, death, to his patients. The hospital has been sued in these cases as well, with allegations that the leadership knew or should have known the doctor wasn’t fit to perform surgeries, but let him continue to operate.
