Why do Black and Latino children get less medical imaging than white children?

February 7, 2022

Black and Latino children may be treated differently than white children by some medical providers.

Racial bias can be found even in ERs entrusted with caring for our children.  A new study shows that black and Latino children seen in an ER get less medical imaging than white children.  Now that the problem has been exposed, responsible health care facilities including the military medical system, need to do whatever it takes to remedy the inequity.

If you believe you child was wrongly denied an x-ray, CT scan or MRI at a military facility and was harmed as a result, we can help.  Call us at 1-877-695-8757 (24/7), e-mail us at LawHelp@militarymedicalmalpractice.com, fill out the short form on the right side of this page, or use click to chat (24/7) on our web site www.MilitaryMedicalMalpractice.com.
